Transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation generates an alternating current for neuro stimulation.

These are the settings you can alter in tACS mode.

tACS – mode settings

Current0.1 to 2.0mAThis is the maximum current used in the session
Duration1-40 minutesThe duration of the neuro stimulation session.
BipolarOFF / ONElectrodes change from anode to cathode
Max Voltage10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55,60VLimit the maximum voltage – can prevent target current being reached if impedance of electrodes and wave path too high.
ShamOFF / BLIND / ONSham mode current is started but then turned off. Blind sham it can be on or off.
Duration of real current in sham mode0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 secondsThe duration that real current is applied before sham mode turns current off
Current Offset0.0 to 1.7mAThe minimum current value
Frequency0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9Hz
