No problems so far
I’ve used my foc.us v1 for a few years to treat depression, and my go flow does the same job in a more convenient package at a much lower price.

Got mine today!
Trying it out now as I write. Arrived early, nicely packaged and looks to be good quality. Wish they had spent more than 1 minute on the directions though. It says to Connect battery (check-easy, its a tight fit though), Change current indicated (check-trial and error showed me its a rocker panel, orange lights went up and down on the dual indicator) Press to set (check-seemed like it took the setting ) Set duration (check-dual indicator goes from 5-35 minutes) Press to start. Here’s where the problem begins. Pressing rocker panel turns lights off, then cycles orange and green lights through range-now you’re left with just the orange (current) lights on. Is it on? Is it off? Is it waiting for instructions? Is it working? Shouldn’t the timer lights be on, counting down? Whats going on Focus-you’re leaving us hanging?

Great idea!
The Go Flow is an excellent re-implementation of tDCS in a simple, affordable package that could probably boast to be the smallest device of its kind on the market. Geared towards exclusive users of tDCS, this covers the gamut of anticipated usage from 0.5mA to 2.0mA and from 5 to 35 minutes. Highly recommended for the person just starting to see what all the buzz is about.
Congratulations to foc.us for having the vision to create this minimalist tDCS product.

Feel nothing!
First report: I plugged in this morning and hooked it up as instructed (X is on the left forehead and Y is on the right shoulder blade) then I set for 35′. By some reasons I didn’t feel anything. I then reset it to run for 5′ and I still don’t feel anything. I might have expected the tingling more than it should have been … I don’t know. I will submit my “Second” report after this 5′.

Second Report
Oops, I started to feel tingling

Again, Exceeds Expectation
only took a few minutes to get used to. Ingenious simplicity, yet powerful. It is so astonishingly good that i am almost speechless.

No idea
Theres little to no information included with the product. I’ve used it a few times now and the electrodes started looking dark brown and stopped sticking completely so i tossed them. That was probably 6 to 8 sessions. Also, the placement of the electrodes is, um, ok, I guess. left forehead, right shoulder, to speed up learning, but I’ve noticed no enhancement. No real sign that its working other than the stinging at the start but it goes away. so was it stinging b/c that is the only time the current was moving or what? I’m going to continue using it and will see if anything changes but as of right now, I feel this is a novelty.

Got Burned.
This seemed like a great idea with an even better price. The first time I tried the “learn faster” configuration at 1.5 mA for 15 min. I felt a little “pinching”at the shoulder pad and when I was finished there was a mark there. I checked the connections to make sure I had things set correctly (I did) and figured that it may have been due to my rather haphazard pad placement.
The next time I tried it I was more careful. I shave the area on my shoulder, wiped the skin with a little soap and water and once that had dried I carefully placed the pads, again in the “learn faster” configuration. This time I turned it down to 1.0 mA for 15 minutes. Again I felt a sharp, burning, pinching sensation at the shoulder pad location. This did diminish over the course of 5 minutes or so. When I was done There was a reddish-white lesion a little bigger than a pencil eraser under when I removed the shoulder pad.
This didn’t hurt much so I didn’t think much of it. A couple of days later I accidentally poked it and felt nothing which was concerning. I went into have it examined and was basically told that I had a small full-thickness or 3rd degree burn. The dead skin layer was cut away to allow healing and is doing well but is going to leave a scar.
I definitely wanted to play with the Go Flow but for now I think I’m done. I don’t think this will happen to everyone who uses this product. I may have a defective unit or my body chemistry might be off but I would say that if you feel like you are getting burned you probably are and stop your session.
The real deal –
Ok but too small.
I believe the unit is too small. It definatley works but at 99 dollars I would think they would give alot extras. I will keep on using it..
Smarter? –
Don’t know?
The people writing the reviews do not seem to be any smarter?
I am definitely not any smarter after visiting the website therefore I’m not going to be ordering the product.
Noobie –
Where are the directions?
Hey I don’t want a LOT of instruction but telling me what X and Y mean would be fantastic.
Dan –
Disappointed too
I think the product is probably wonderful and will do everything they say it will. BUT there is not one darned piece of instruction with it.
The headband has ten slots for electrodes but no information on which ones to use or why you would choose one spot over another. Nothing.
Seven settings for power but no information on choosing a setting. What does it affect.
Same thing for timing. No information.
There are some sponge electrodes and also some sticky electrodes in the package. No instruction or information on which to use where or when.
Not even a tiny piece of paper with a “Go to http://www.xxxxxxx.com for instructions”.
More like “Here it is. You figure it out.”

Not fake review
I bought this device not from here but from CAPUTRON site because reading their reviews from their page were best from this page, so better communication with the staff.
About the product: Same as the picture they show BUT without any colors, the numbers are imprinted in the same plastic device. Other thing is that they did not send me the sticky electrodes patches which i really don’t mind because i prefer to use the sponges with the headband.
The product came with no instructions but i did not mind because i made my research before ordering and i knew about that issue and searched for online instructions. So if you are new in this therapy i suggest to make a research previously which you definitely should, this is not a toy.
The device works perfect and it is easy to use, just to clicks on the only button it has and your done. instructions are on this page nothing out of this world.
I have depression and anxiety, i have used this device 7 days (20 minutes a day) on the most researched electrode positions which is X – Anode in left F3 Region and Y-Cathode in right Fp2 and i REALLY felt and still felling that something is going on for a better, as im doing the tDCS session i’m doing at the same time cognitive games from this page (Unobrain) i’ve read that stimulating your brain while using tDCS is way better.
Final thoughts: Very happy with this little tDCS device, works perfectly and seems to be working on me. Recommended.

Very basic
The Go Flow connected to the 9V battery is very easy to use.
It remembers your last settings so if no changes its quicker to start the next session.
Instructions could be better.
Enki –
love it
Quickly reduces my anxiety almost every time I use it. Love it.

Great product, super easy to use once you understand it. Also YouTube has some good videos on using this if the instruction manual gets a bit confusing.
